Polly Kahn

An interview with Polly Kahn conducted April 4, 2019 by Gerry Albarelli for the Columbia Center for Oral History, Avery Fisher Artist Program Oral History Project. 

Polly Kahn was the former Assistant Director of Lincoln Center Institute, now Lincoln Center Education, where she worked closely with Mark Schubart, who played a pivotal role in the founding and organization of the Avery Fisher Artist Program and served as its first Chairman (1974-1997).  In 2014, Kahn founded the consulting firm PK Art Solutions/PK Orchestra Solutions, prior to which she served as Vice President for Learning & Leadership Development at the League of American Orchestras.  She is a member of the Avery Fisher Artist Program’s Recommendation Board.
